The 2026 Labor Day Shamble is a 4-person team event.  Grab your best foursome and enjoy the holiday.  The format is Shamble best 2 balls net.  A shamble format allows the team to tee off from their selected tees and choose the best tee shot.  From that spot all players will then play their second shot and continue playing their own ball in.  The teams best 2 net scores will count toward the scoring for that hole.  If a player does not have a handicap they must play as a scratch (zero handicap).  All handicaps will be set at 70% of their normal handicap.  All men under the age of 60 will play from the blue tees, aged between 60-70 will play the white tees, aged over 70 can play the MGA SS tees and all ladies will play from the red tees.  

Entry fee is $125 for non-members and $50 for members of MGGC.  Shotgun start at 9:00 am.  Entry fee includes golf, food and prizes. Any questions please call the pro shop at 804-639-5701.
