The Golf Course COVID-19 FAQS

X

We appreciate the opportunity to give our members and guests an outlet to get fresh air and exercise in a safe environment. We pride ourselves in providing a safe environment for the enjoyment of the game of golf, and we are open with some very important changes designed to ensure everyone's safety.

Please review these Frequently Asked Questions before coming to the course.

Can we take a cart?

We are allowing walking and riding tee times. All carts, rental clubs and pull carts are sanitized before and after play.

Can I walk up and play?

We ask that all tee times be booked ahead of time. If you don’t have a tee time booked, you may not be allowed to play.

How can I book a tee time?

The easiest for our staff is for you to book your round up to a week in advance in our online booking portal. You may also call the Golf Shop to book at 804.639.5701,1, but know that we are experiencing higher than normal call volume.

What should I know when I go play?

Please arrive only 15-20 minutes early to avoid creating any large groups. Once at the course you may go into the Golf Shop through the front doors with your mask on. There you may pay for your round and purchase any merchandise or range balls you may need. Food and beverages are available at the turn window underneath the golf shop. Alcohol will be available for purchase from the golf course, but you are not allowed to bring your own per the State’s liquor licensing laws. After, please exit the golf shop to the left and check-in with the starter before beginning your round.

What has been done to limit grouping and touch points?

  • Social Distancing is practiced in all areas of our facility and should be practiced on the golf course as well. Do not share clubs and golf equipment with your playing partners or congregate with them in the parking lot before or after your round.
  • The course has been set up to limit touch points by removing; sand bottles, water coolers, ball washers, etc.
  • The clubhouse is limited to 50% capacity – this includes use of the restrooms, checking in for your round and any purchases from the Golf Shop.
  • Face masks are required when inside the clubhouse, and you must follow all posted signage and staff directions.

Are the driving range and putting green open?

The driving range is open with all driving range stalls are set at least 6 feet apart. Range codes may be purchased from the Golf Shop. Please leave empty baskets on the range stalls for staff to come by and collect for disinfecting. The putting green and short game area are open as well. Please keep 6 feet of space from anyone else practicing or warming up.

Are the Junior Summer Camps still on?

We are hosting our popular junior camps with additional safety protocols and are limiting each camp to 16 juniors to achieve a 4:1 student to teacher ratio. To find out more and to register please visit CoachLeighann.com. Please also read our entire approach to safety for junior golf camps.

What about leagues, outings and events?

If you have questions about your league, please reach out to your league coordinator as we will continue to keep them informed. All of our in-house tournaments and golf outings have been adjusted to account for the limits on gatherings. Check our event calendar to see what has been planned, and if you would like to host your own please email us or fill out our golf outing form.

What about the Grille?

Please read about changes to the Grille.
